The history of cycling is a story of innovation; how the pioneers have refined and adapted their techniques to overcome the opposition. We at Steel Vintage Bikes aim to continue the history of these bicycles by restoring them to their former glory and we would like to share their stories. We will take you on a journey through the generations, starting in what many define as the golden era of cycling.
As the technology and engineering developed, the bicycles became more and more advanced. These innovations forged the greats of the 60s and 70s and allowed them to push cycling into a new era, in which record after record was broken. Of course, this also lead to lots of experimentation and allowed some frame builders to develop some crazy designs.
